First Look

At first look, one may doubt if this futuristic car is genuinely the work of a company better recognized for mobile technology. Its design makes us curious about the brand’s evolution.

Without branding on the wall, our first opinion would have been about it as a German car. The divided headlamps make it look like a Mercedes C-class.

Side Look

As defined as a C-class luxury technology sedan, the Xiaomi SU7 shows so much improvement in different proportions. Meeting up to the perfect ratio of wheel-to-axel, wheel height, and height-to-width, this is a piece of art.

The side profile displays elegant contours matching from the front to the back. The body curves are smooth and fully coordinated with the wheel design and size.

Back Profile

The rear end makes you feel like this car is nothing new and unaware of the future car world. The ducktail spoiler and joined LED lights give this a unique and distinctive feel.

It is fantastic to combine this car with style and character; the elegant and sleek design differs from anything available on the market.

Lower Drag

The Xiaomi SU7 knows what it is doing. The beauty of this car is not only limited to its design but also offers the performance it needs.

The pure attention to detail enabled the new Xiaomi SU7 to reduce drag to a higher extent and achieve an impressive low drag coefficient of as low as 0.195.

Vibrant Colors

The Xiaomi SU7 was initially launched in three colors: Aqua Blue, Verdant Green, and Mineral Gray, which became known to MI fans very quickly.

At present, it is offering six more colors to the assembly line, which are:

  • Meteor Blue: A very peaceful, relaxing, and cool.
  • Radiant Purple: Made for shining personalities.
  • Basalt Gray: A decent and enormous one.
  •  Lava Orange: A display of passion.
  • Pearl White: A must-have, lightning up the mood.
  •  Diamond Black: A dashing one with blue pearls

15th Anniversary

The Xiaomi SU7 is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a unique new color to mark its milestone in EV cars. The new color announced is Magenta, which is indeed vibrant.

The limited edition color matches the Xiaomi smartphones, and a matching theme of the same color will be available to this mobile company users as a gesture to celebrate without sparking achievement.

Interior Selections

You can take your personal preferences inside the cockpit of this car by choosing the right color for you. This car offers four different colors to choose from, starting as:

Galaxy Gray, Twilight Red, Mist Purple, and Obsidian Black. I can’t wait to see a black Xiaomi with a Twilight Red interior that will surely take your breaths away,

Cockpit

The Xiaomi SU7 offers a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom displaying a significant D-shape wheel with one button on each side.

One button turns the smart driving mode on and off while the other one is to be cautious as it turns on to boost mood for a quick adrenaline rush.

Secret Fish Mode

Recently, a user has unveiled a strange use of the front trunk, or we can call it frunk, as he has been using this compartment for transporting fish. While that is a stretch, this car offers the most significant front compartment of 105 liters.

The front space includes two drain plugs, which come in handy to thoroughly wash it after you load your fish into it without worrying about the foul odor ever coming inside the cabin.

Unmatched Performance

An EV that offers both quick acceleration and higher top speeds is rare; there is mostly just one option at the table.

The Xiaomi SU7 offers both simultaneously, achieving 0-60 mph in just 2.78 seconds, while it merely takes 10.67 seconds to reach a speed of 124 mph (200km/h). Not to forget, the top speed of this car is 164 mph (265km/h).

Battery

The Xiaomi SU7 offers a 101kWh Kirin Battery, which is undoubtedly a big one considering the batteries of other EV cars, where BYD Seal provides a battery of 80 and the Tesla Model 3 comes up with a 60 kWh battery.

This high-capacity battery makes our hopes high for its travel range, and Xiaomi does not fail to meet your expectations.

Range

The Xiaomi SU7 Max offers an unbelievable 503 miles of CLTC range, while the Xiaomi SU7 provides 434 miles of CLTC range. The Xiaomi SU7 claims 85 miles of range within five minutes, while 15 minutes of charge can take up to 217 miles along the ride.

The Xiaomi SU7 Max claims a range of 316 miles in just 15 minutes, whereas a five-minute charge takes your range as high as 136 miles.

Smart Chassis

Xiaomi boasts of its BOSCH ESP 10.0 stability control system with CDC variable damping control system, increasing the damping range by 100 percent.

It offers a 5-link independent suspension control and a 50:50 equal weight ratio on the front and back end, resulting in a 443mm lower center of gravity. Aluminum double-bone suspension with BOSCH DBP brake controllers make sure everything goes as planned.

Manufacturing Line

The Xiaomi EV factory takes control of carbon emissions and uses renewable energy sources, setting sustainability standards and environmental controls right from the start.

The EV factory is based on a solar roof, which generates the Xiaomi EV factory and sets standards for sustainability, fully considering carbon emissions and using renewable energy from the very start of construction.

Smart Spoiler

Xiaomi SU7 offers a sleek concealing spoiler that vanishes in the bodyline. It has a brake lamp beneath it, making it more visible during night hours.

Concealing spoiler is often featured in high-end sports cars, adding value to aerodynamics. It helps control the drag at high-speed turns and helps in hard braking.

Elegant Desire

The claims by Xiaomi SU7 are outstanding, and the factory setup is based purely on electric energy and a massive production unit. This car does tell us the answer to our question at the beginning.

My answer is yes or no. A mobile company can make an impressive car. Let’s see how this company competes with the emerging brand BYD in the electric world.
